Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival 2012

Lowestoft Sea Front Air Festival is organized as a social enterprise, and is run entirely by the community, for the commuiny and for the benefit of the community on a "not-for-profit" basis. Although one of our partners, it is not run by the local authority!
 
This is why we ask every visitor makes a voluntary donation of at least 3.00 per person, to keep the show running. We feel this represents incredible value for money, and our visitors' donations are essential! Everyone who contributed in 2011 has ensured that the 2012 show will take place.

By coming to Lowestoft, the Sunrise coast and the Waveney valley, not only can you enjoy our fantastic beaches and un-spoilt coastline, you can also enjoy two fun-filled, action packed family days of:

Military displays and exhibitions that will interest all the family.

Funfairs, stalls and simulators for all children whatever age!

A fantastic variety of food and drink outlets, from fish and chips to fudge, all handy on the sea front so you dont miss any of the action!

A diversity of stalls and traders the length of the sea front, that will appeal to everyone.

A marvelous family atmosphere!

We plan to have around 4.5 hours of superb precision and spectacular flying displays on both days by all sorts of aeroplanes, (subject of course to serviceability and availability).

Our 2012 souvenir Event Program will be on sale from local outlets from around Monday 1st August or you can go to our shop page to order one online. There will also be programs and merchandise sales marquees on the sea front on the days of the show. Programs will also be available from both Park and Ride sites.

The displays will start around 12.45pm both days, however there is so much to see and do, Displays will finish at approximately 17:15 pm each day.

Large crowds are expected, so come early!

The RSPCA recommends that you leave all dogs and pets at home. Air displays can be noisy and frightening for pets.
